YTV is a Canadian English-language Category A cable and satellite youth oriented specialty channel. Its programming consists of original live-action and animated television series, movies, and third-party programming from Nickelodeon (Including The Fairly OddParents) and other distributors. It is a sister channel to Nickelodeon Canada.
YTV is owned by Canadian media broadcasting company, Corus Entertainment. Corus Entertainment also owns the Canadian versions of Nickelodeon, Disney Channel (and sister channels), and Cartoon Network. YTV has the rights to air most of Nickelodeon's original programming, and served as the only Canadian Channel to air Nickelodeon programming until 2009, when Corus launched a Canadian Nickelodeon Channel.
YTV has the rights to the entirety of The Fairly OddParents and regularly airs them. It is also usually where new episodes of FOP premiere in Canada (in some occasions, before they air in the US).
