Wings are part of a Fairy's anatomy. Anti-Fairies also have their own bat-like versions of wings.

Most fairies appear to be born with wings, although according to "Fairy Idol", those without wings (such as Genies) who become Fairy Godparents must endure having these wings stapled onto their body by Jorgen Von Strangle. Like a fairy's wand and crown, they are an identifier for whether or not a character is a fairy, although Jorgen notably does not have wings because he does not consider them manly and uses a jetpack to fly instead.
