Plot[]

Mr. Turner and Crocker meet at the mall.

Mr. Turner and Crocker meet at the mall.

Mr. Turner's morning is ruined when Dinkleberg comes by to say he changed the oil in the Turners' car. Enraged, Mr. Turner decides to he needs to "let off some steam", which he does by going to the mall and riding the children's mall train. Mr. Crocker is also on the train. He tells Mr. Turner he is there to distract himself from his seemingly never-ending hunt for fairy godparents. He offers to kill Dinkleberg if Mr. Turner brings him Timmy's goldfish, his fairies, in exchange. Elsewhere in the mall, Timmy, Cosmo, Wanda, and Poof see Mr. Turner and Crocker shaking hands. Timmy suspects Crocker is going to make Mr. Turner "do something bad".

Crocker launches a satellite that will make Dinkleberg's GPS direct him to a replica of his house based on a missile testing site. Timmy catches his father trying to steal the fairies' fishbowl and asks what he was doing with Crocker. Mr. Turner denies the plan to take the goldfish and destroy Dinkleberg, then asks from the fish "on a completely unrelated note". Timmy gives him the fishbowl, though not before covering it and wishing there were a wolverine inside rather than the fairies. Mr. Turner goes to the Crocker Cave and gives Crocker the bowl, and the wolverine chases Crocker.

Dinkleberg and Crocker bond.

Dinkleberg and Crocker bond.

While walking outside, Crocker unknowingly stops in the way of an oncoming bus. Dinkleberg pushes him out of the way, then notices the "giant tension knot" on his back and presses it out. Crocker declares this stranger his new best friend, and discovers soon afterward that he is talking to Dinkleberg. At night, Cosmo offers to stay awake in case Mr. Turner comes to take the fishbowl again. He falls asleep seconds later, which allows Mr. Turner to sneak in and out of Timmy's room with the bowl. Crocker treats Dinkleberg to onion waffles at his house. He tells Dinkleberg about the onion cookbook he wrote and learns that Dinkleberg was the one who bought the only copy sold. After Dinkleberg leaves, Mr. Turner shows up with the fishbowl. Crocker tells him he is not going to kill Dinkleberg anymore because he thinks having him as a friend is better than having fairies. In response, Mr. Turner takes the remote control that activates the GPS satellite from him and presses it himself. Crocker drives to the fake house to stop Dinkleberg from going in. Dinkleberg invites him inside to autograph his copy of the cookbook, then the doors and windows are covered by sheets of metal.

Timmy wakes up and sees his fairies have been kidnapped. He has Sparky track their scent to the testing site, where the two hear that there will be a missile launch in a few minutes. Sparky digs into the house and Timmy makes Cosmo poof everyone away. Crocker, the only person left in the house, ends up getting crushed by the missile. Back on the mall train, Mr. Turner complains that the plan to kill Dinkleberg failed. Mrs. Crocker, upset about her son blasting her into space along with the satellite, offers to make a deal with him.
