- Vicky is driving an ALCO FPA1 locomotive in the ending of this episode with Amtrak 1970-80 livery.
- The Mayor of Dimmsdale eats goat meat.
- In the pictures that Vicky shows to The Mayor, the Goat Con is a reference to the Comic Con. This incident is later referenced in "Crocker Shocker" when the Mayor is seen at Dr. Phyllis Fancyfree's office getting therapy for his and Chompy the Goat's deteriorating relationship.
