This article is about the Turner Residence in the original animated series. For information on Turner Residence in the live action movies or spinoffs, see Turner Residence (Live-Action Movies) or Turner Residence (Fairly Odder).

The Turners' house is the home of Timmy Turner and his parents, located in the city of Dimmsdale, California. Timmy's home is the primary setting of most episodes of The Fairly OddParents.

Information[]

The Turner home is where a large amount of episodes begin, and in some cases, the action never leaves the home or even Timmy's bedroom. The most commonly seen areas are the living room and Timmy's bedroom, the latter of which has the fishbowl in which Cosmo, Wanda, and Poof live inside the castle.

Description[]

The exterior of the house is painted white, with a red-colored roof, a chimney running up the right side of the house, and a satellite dish and a garage on the left. There are bushes in the front of the house, and a pathway leading up to the front door. In the backyard is a garden, more bushes, and Timmy's treehouse.

Interior[]

The first floor holds the living room, the dining room, the kitchen, Mr. Turner's sewing room,[1] the laundry room,[2] and a bathroom. Below the kitchen, there is a giant cellar which Mr. Turner and Timmy have used to hide the meals Mrs. Turner makes for them.[3] On the second floor is Timmy's bedroom (and in it, Cosmo, Wanda, and Poof's fishbowl), his parents' bedroom, Mr. Turner's playroom,[4] and two bathrooms: one in the hallway and the other in Timmy's room.

Above the second floor, there is an attic where the Turners keep their old belongings. Mr. Turner uses this room as a provisional man cave, as seen in "I Dream of Cosmo".

The basement has a machine that stores the fairy dust left when Timmy's wishes are granted.[2] According to "Talkin' Trash", the house did not have a basement until "stinky magic" created one.

The placement of Mr. Turner's study, seen in "Father Time!" and "Odd Jobs", is unclear.

Because the house has no floor plan,[5][6] the placement of the rooms is not entirely consistent between episodes. For example, "Apartnership!" and "Inspection Detection" have Timmy's room on the ground floor.

Backyard[]

Timmy's treehouse, located in the backyard of the Turner home.

The backyard has been shown to have a patio and a garden maintained by Mrs. Turner. The backyard is also a sizable one, accommodating a large tree that Timmy's treehouse is built on. Timmy, his godparents, and his friends use this treehouse as a hangout and hiding place.

Inhabitants[]

Temporary inhabitants[]

Trivia[]

  • Season 8 and Season 9 are the only seasons to have the house present in every episode.
