  • This episode was one of the two that were included in the new episodes' promo.
  • The Sewer Worm was technically a recycled version of the Sand Worm from the episode, Momnipresent, the only difference being that it's pink in this episode.
  • This episode revealed that Crocker's Mom is allergic to dogs.
  • When Timmy rolled the dice to Sparky for him to sniff it, the dice both landed on 6, adding up to a total of 12.
  • When Cosmo finds Mr. Crocker's note which says "I got Sparky," it is concluded that Mr. Crocker already found out what Sparky's name is. However, later on in the episode when Sparky is being hypnotized, Mr. Crocker asks him what his name is.
  • This is the first time Sparky is seen in the episode title card.
  • This is the fourth time Denzel Crocker appears as a kid. The first was The Secret Origin of Denzel Crocker!. The second was Hassle in the Castle. The third was Birthday Bashed!. The fifth was Let Sleeper Dogs Lie, and the sixth was Animal Crockers.
  • In this episode, Mrs. Crocker's color scheme is different from normal, as she is wearing a red dress instead of the usual blue one.
    • This also happened in App Trap, where she briefly appeared in an app (in this case, the “gloat app”).
