  • The Sewer Worm was technically a recycled version of the Sand Worm from the episode, Momnipresent, the only difference being that it's pink in this episode.
  • This episode revealed that Crocker's Mom is allergic to dogs.
  • When Timmy rolled the dice to Sparky for him to sniff it, the dice both landed on 6, adding up to a total of 12.
  • When Cosmo finds Mr. Crocker's note which says "I got Sparky," it is concluded that Mr. Crocker already found out what Sparky's name is. However, later on in the episode when Sparky is being hypnotized, Mr. Crocker asks him what his name is.
  • This is the first time Sparky is seen in the episode title card.
  • This is the fourth time Denzel Crocker appears as a kid. The first was The Secret Origin of Denzel Crocker!. The second was Hassle in the Castle. The third was Birthday Bashed!. The fifth will be Let Sleeper Dogs Lie and the sixth will be Animal Crockers.


  • Turner & Hooch - The title of the episode is a reference to the 1989 film.
