Turner & Pooch is the fourth episode of Season 9.
Plot[]
After multiple failed attempts to find out Timmy's new source of magic, Crocker realizes that Sparky has magical powers. Eager to use the fairy dog’s powers to fulfill his own wishes, Crocker hypnotizes Sparky in an attempt to turn him against Timmy.
Synopsis[]
Spoiler warning: Plot or ending details follow. |
The episode starts with Sparky driving a monster truck. Sparky gives Timmy a pair of trick dice for being the best pet owner ever and also to cheat at Shatzee (reference to Yahtzee). Just then, Crocker climbs out of a manhole saying that his magic detector has picked up a new source of magic and thinks that Timmy has a new fairy. Back at home, Timmy thanks Cosmo and Wanda for giving them a monster truck and asks them to poof it away. Unfortunately, they cannot because Cosmo put their wands in the dishwasher. Meanwhile in the kitchen, Dad opens up the washing machine and finds an animated dish and spoon, which run away (referencing a nursery rhyme). Wanda says she ordered two new wands, but they have to make do until they are delivered. Outside the house, Crocker tries to sneak in disguised as an exterminator. Mr. Crocker comes very close to finding Sparky several times. After he leaves, Timmy asks when the new wands are going to come. Cosmo replies that FairEx (reference to FedEx) just delivered them, but they were dirty, so he put them in the washing machine. Crocker thinks the new source of magic is coming from Dad. He captures Dad but discovers that it is not coming from him. Crocker then revisits their house driving an ice cream truck and disguised as a vampire (the costume shop was out of ice cream man outfits, so he went with the next logical choice) and discovers Sparky. He captures him and takes him to his house and hypnotizes him into thinking that he is his dog. When Timmy comes to rescue him, Sparky attacks him. When he smells the trick dice, it breaks the hypnosis. Crocker is attacked by the floating silverware and gets hit by the dish and the spoon driving a station wagon. Back at home, Timmy asks Cosmo if he had the new wands. Cosmo says they were delivered, but he put them in the bathtub. The episode ends with Dad being chased by the bathtub and saying this is what he gets for shaving his legs in the tub.
