"Totally Spaced Out" is the thirteenth episode of Season 2.
Plot[]
Timmy is annoyed when Vicky has to come over, so he wishes she could end up millions of miles away. To accomplish this, Cosmo goes to Yugopotamia, where Mark celebrates his birthday. Cosmo tricks Mark into coming to Earth for Vicky, and she is taken away. But when Timmy's parents have a Plan B for babysitting Timmy, which involves Happy Peppy Gary and Betty and Flappy Bob's Peppy Happy Learnatorium, Timmy realizes he needs Vicky back, and challenges Mark to Death Combat in order to get her.
Synopsis[]
Returning from school, Timmy is excited for the coming weekend until his parents announce they are going on a "not business" business trip and leaving him with Vicky. Not wanting to spend the whole weekend being tortured by Vicky, he implores Cosmo and Wanda to think of something that will "take [her] a million million miles" away. Cosmo heads out with a tape measure to see the distance. Meanwhile, on Yugopotamia, Mark is celebrating his birthday, but is unable to appreciate his gifts because he is still mourning losing Vicky. Cosmo ends up in front of him after measuring a "million million" miles, and shows him a forged hologram of Vicky asking him to take her away. Mark and his friends, Jeff and Erik, fly to Vicky's house and kidnap her by using knockout gas to put her to sleep. Using her body as a puppet, they tell an oblivious Mr. Turner that Vicky is going to Europe.
Timmy is confident his parents will have to cancel their trip, but instead they resort to what they call Plan B: dropping him off at Flappy Bob's Peppy Happy Camp Learnatorium. At the daycare, Timmy is made miserable. The overzealous caretakers, Gary and Betty, pester him about health and safety and dress him up in thickly padded safety gear just so he can use a ball pit. When he finds an arcade machine, Smack-a-Mole, it ends up showing him an eight-hour documentary on moles. Timmy decides that he wants Vicky back. Since Cosmo and Wanda cannot interfere with Mark's love by magically taking Vicky from him, Timmy wishes the three of them to Yugopotamia so he can retrieve her himself.
Timmy goes to Mark's birthday party and demands that Vicky be released. Mark refuses to give her up and challenges him to Death Combat. For the first round of Death Combat, Mark chooses the Yugopotamian war arena, where he does battle using a giant robot while Timmy and the fairies take advantage of Yugopotamians' distaste for soft and sweet things by firing pillows at him. Mark soon disarms Timmy and fires a huge laser cannon to kill him, but he spectacularly misses, only destroying the ground around the boy. With the first round over, Timmy gets to choose the next arena, and he selects the ball pit at the Learnatorium. With all the vibrant colors, soft stuffed animals, and healthy food around, compounded by the laughing children making fun of him, Mark becomes overwhelmed and surrenders.
Timmy tries to compensate for ruining Mark's birthday first by not killing him and second by giving him and his friends the Smack-a-Mole game. On the way back to his planet, Mark announces that he will come for Vicky again as soon as he finishes with the game, but then Gary and Betty pop out of the game cabinet with soy cubes and he screams. Timmy, now at home, is relieved to have Vicky back and not be at the Learnatorium. Vicky finally wakes up and yells at him for not being miserable, and he gives her another spray of knockout gas.
