- The name of this episode is an obvious reference to Timmy's name, Timmy Turner.
- Ustinkistan's name is a jab at the actual country, the Republic of Uzbekistan. Like Ustinkistan, Uzbekistan is extremely poor, with around 45% of the population living on less than $1.25 a day.
- Fairies can only grant turnip wishes while living in Ustinkistan.
- If you look carefully at the suitcase, you see the words Bon Scott. Bon Scott was a singer for AC/DC
- Another suitcase trivia piece is the word Fairy on it. It is currently unknown why.
- Ustinkistan looks the same in the present and 50 years ago
- Grandpa Vlad could be a reference to Vlad Plasmius form Danny Phantom, another Butch Hartman show.
Goofs
- If Timmy wished that his grandparents never came to America, then he shouldn't be existing since his parents never met unless his parents met in Ustinkistan in the alternate timeline.
