Trivia
- Timmy's 2-D House of Horror - This title spoofs The Simpsons Halloween special, Treehouse of Horror. It is also a spoof of a common name for a 3D haunted house, Someone's 3D house of horror. The "2-D" may also be a reference to Tootie though, it could also be a reference to the show being in 2D.
- A running gag in this episode is that whenever someone puts on the 3-D glasses they see something that is really super scary to them.
- Another running gag is the "word play".
Goofs
- Vicky's house was next door to a neighbors' house, but when it was destroyed by the lava they were on an island.
- Vicky's parents act like they've never met Timmy's parents before and vice versa, yet they met in Channel Chasers when Vicky's parents were first introduced. Though this may be due to Timmy wiping his parent's memories of the events that happened in the latter episode.
- The temple arms on Tootie's glasses are missing in many scenes.
- Although Tootie seemingly moves back into Timmy's house at the end and makes his room their room, she is back in her own house in later episodes and Timmy's room is the way it was before. It is possible Timmy probably called the authorities or Vicky's parents to remove her from his house and his room since he could not have poofed her out. (she likes him and magic can not interfere with true love)
