Vicky is unafraid of things that most people would consider scary as she was unfazed by the spaghetti with eyeballs and the French arm.
This episode reveals that Timmy's parents did not have friends before Vicky's parents.
Tootie was the only character not to wear the 3-D glasses.
This would mark the last time Tootie and Vicky would interact until A Fairly Odd Summer.
After Cosmo and Wanda as flowers tell Timmy that Vicky has to leave with her family too since she was bored of the stuff on her 3-D glasses, the former two do not appear for the remainder of the episode.
The Haunted Volcano, and the people that appear in the 3D film are the only characters to not have a main or major role in this episode.
Allusions
SCTV - The episode's title is likely a spoof of the reoccurring "Dr. Tongue's 3-D House of" sketches; said sketches were themselves likely riffing off the marketing for the 1953 movie House of Wax, which played up the movie's 3D aspect.
Whenever someone puts on the 3-D glasses they see and hear something that is really super scary to them.

Goofs
At the beginning of the episode, the purple bean bag and Timmy who is sitting on it aren’t behind Cosmo and Wanda when they are watching The Haunted Volcano in Timmy’s treehouse. But soon after, the said bean bag and Timmy appear behind Cosmo and Wanda.
Vicky's parents act like they've never met Timmy's parents before and vice versa, yet they met in Channel Chasers when Vicky's parents were first introduced. Though this may be due to Timmy wiping his parent's memories of the events that happened in the later episode.
It is unknown why Timmy couldn't have simply just wished Vicky's family out of his house.
The temple arms on Tootie's glasses are missing in many scenes.
The Nickelodeon TV Schedule displays this episode as "Timmy's House of Horror".
Timmy could have slept in his treehouse instead of Doidle's doghouse.
When Timmy's dad says "Hold me, new friends!", the captions say YOU in place of NEW. It's as if Timmy's dad was meanly nice to Vicky's parents.
Vicky's room is colored differently than how it did in previous episodes.
When Timmy’s dad wears a pair of 3-D glasses, thinking that Timmy’s mom and Timmy are Dinklebergs, the dog leash around Timmy’s neck is gone.
