Timmy helps his mother make a viral video. Crocker wants to kidnap Timmy's mom because he thinks she's a troll who possesses magic.

The episode Viral Vidiots will be premiering on Saturday, June 22nd at 9:30AM EST. A preview is available on the official Nickelodeon site for US viewers.

Fans in the United States were briefly able to watch the full episode before its premiere. The "App Trap" half was Viral Vidiots, but Nickelodeon has corrected the error.

    • All you need to do is read the plot to know that it won't be all that successful.

    • Crocker appeared... again. 6 times in a row and 7 times total. Even though only 2 of them were major roles, it is still bad that he was seen at all. It is sort of like he is a main character now.

    • I managed to catch it before they took it off the Nick website, but I didn't record. It had a few funny moments, but the overall episode felt just the same as the other ones before it. Same characters, same gags, forgettable plot. If you haven't enjoyed any of the prior Season 9 episodes you won't enjoy this one.

I'd say skip it and wait until Scary GodCouple is released, and if that doesn't at least entertain somewhat then I don't know what to say. It really feels like the staff, the writers at least, have quit on this show.

    • So most of season 9 episodes were flops in a row? Too sad though, the season was sort of better when it started.

    • I disagree. I think the only episodes that were equally bad to Season 7 and 8 were "Dumbbell Curve" and "App Trap". The rest so far, for me, were very superior, at least in writing quality. Some problems are still there, though, as Crocker and Timmy's dad being overused, continuity disconnections to previous seasons, and fan-favorite characters not being used at all.

    • Is it because of the wish it wish it away formula sometimes? I just noticed that Don't Feed the Turners made a spin to the formula, Timmy had to do the wish on Dark Laser than himself. Did that make this select episode any better?

You're right. The season was ok, until Crocker made unessesary appearances in The Terrible Twosome and Force of Nature. And the breakfast Troll part could have been illiminated from Viral Vidiots as well.

    • I'm not sure why they needed to a "breakfast troll" thing... couldn't they've tried make Timmy parody Gangnam Style instead and gets a viral hit that is exactly like the song, which makes Vicky who was babysitting him at the time jealous and angry, resulting in her trying to make her own viral video?

That's another idea using the basic idea of Viral Vidiots.

    • Viral Vidiots was a decent episode of FOP. This episode wasn't funny much but Cosmo's and Sparky's viral videos were funny for me. Also Timmy was likeable in this episode. I actually liked season 9 so far but I agree that Mr. Crocker and Timmy's dad need to appear less. At least Vicky returns in the next episode and I hope the other characters appear more than Mr. Crocker and Timmy's dad. So far the only season 9 episodes that I didn't like are "Fairly OddParents" and "Dumbbell Curve". The other season 9 episodes were good.

    • I thought this episode was all right. It does make me sad at how much they seemed to have dumbed down Crocker though :/ I mean, I know he's blatantly ignored some magical occurrences that were clearly fairies before, but when he actually sees Cosmo in this episode and blatantly disregards that he's a fairy, it just upset me. He has pictures, or partial pictures, of Timmy's fairies. He described a fairy perfectly when he saw Cosmo, and he just decided he was a weird, floating man >.> I feel the old Crocker would have been all over that. I know most characters have dumbed down (or have been further dumbed down), but for whatever reason, I REALLY don't like that they've done it to Mr. Crocker. :/ But what can you do?

    • This episode was, at best, mediocre. I agree with the above post, Crocker has been dumbed down so much, it pitiful. Remember in Abra-Castastrophe how formidable he was as an enemy? Now, I just find Crocker annoying when he appears.

    • Crocker Crocker Crocker. He just got more childish than before. Heck, even the way he's drawn recently reflects that.

First time he appeared (Transparents!): Transparents062.jpg

      Now (Fairly OddPet): 800px-Fairlyoddpet016.jpg

See the glasses and himself in general?

Good idea, in fact that was my prediction of Viral Vidiots too. It would have been great, but NO, they had to use another unfunny Crocker story. What is this show comming to?

Wow, Crocker was a little more scary back in his first appearance.  He just looks, like you said, really childish now.

    • Mr Crocker wasn't the only FOP character who changed over time. Here's a picture of Cosmo (who also changed) from Season One:

And here he is (with Wanda, Timmy, and Poof) in Dumbbell Curve -Notice the difference? Also, his character changed, too, because he wasn't as stupid back then.

    • OK, come on. The images aren't there. Anyway, he still changed.

    • Well well, Cosmo... Here I go... (The Big Problem!) TheBigProblem061.jpg

Now, you look like this... (Fairly OddPet) 800px-Fairlyoddpet116.jpg

Oh my gosh, the characters differ like the difference between generations. I know their look has been changed, but its more than I thought. Also Wanda is comparable as well.

Also for the sake of it... here is our favorite duo. Same episodes as above. TheBigProblem039.jpg

You know what's even worse? I think Poof changed as well through 3 seasons, but it could be just me.

    • I don't see a problem on characters changing visually. Do you remember "American Dragon", where animation style changed on Season 2?

This is not even what happened with FOP. The animation has just improved in these 12 years.

        Loading editor
    • Oh yes, I know that show. Back in the days when I was watching FOP from Disney Channel (oh boy they had something from the opposition). So that change of animation happened on season 2? Was there a season 0 or just a season 1?

Either way, the animation may have improved with the other characters, unless we're talking about Crockpot. In Crocker's case, his head went from bulky and large to bulky but compact, his glasses changed completely (exactly like Tootie's), and he looks less scarier than he was before. Wait a second, as the generations advanced, their look now reflected their personality well! Wanda looked more wiser by time, Cosmo's dumber when you look at him, Dad and Mom became less of a couple, and Vicky is plain scarier even if you don't know her.

And Timmy's look still feels like good ol' Timmy :/ .

Well still, the above changes can't be compared to Mr. Crocker's. I feel like he's the one who has been changed to reflect his persona more than the above names. Poor Crockpot :_(

    • Wow, there was LOTS of changes to the characters since in the Oh Yeah! Cartoons and seasons 1-5

        Loading editor
    • Indeed there was a lot. However, the most drastic changes were between the OY!C and season 1, since they changed for the better... then they got improved by time to reflect their personalities even more.
