• This episode marks the second crush a main character has had.
  • The first was Zina's crush on Roy.
• Microscopes are no longer allowed in the bathrooms at Dimmsdale Junior High School.
• Viv and Cosmo like "Riverpound", but Roy and Wanda like "Action High."
• This marks the first episode that takes place in an alternate universe, let alone two different universes.
  • In "Riverpound", the characters are:

  • In "Action High", the characters are:

• Vicky shows up as Wanted posters of her live-action counterpart with the name: Vicky Annette von Evil.
• Vicky straps Roy to a rocketship so he can call on Cosmo and Wanda and get them captured.
• Roy wishes for the living room of their home into the setting of "Riverpound" so that Viv can get cheek-kissed by Dumont.
• During the Riverpound sequence, The Dodo Shack has a sign that says “Tea Shop” in it and different items available for purchase. The sign calling it The Dodo Shack on the side is still present and the menu is not posted.
• in the Action High sequences, Gulp Soda is heavily advertised. In the Riverpound sequences it is referred to as Gulp Tea.
  • the slogan also changes. Gulp Soda’s slogan is “Beat your thirst to the finish line”. Gulp Tea’s is “As refreshing as a gentle cheek kiss”.
• Roy has a heart tattoo that says "nachos" on it.
• Cassidy’s MPP poster reads “Chopsticks + Cake = Sophisticated”

Allusions

• Bridgerton - the show Viv and Cosmo watch that inspired her wish, Riverpound, is a parody of Bridgerton.
• Roy's "Action High" wish partially references the episode back to the original series episode, Action Packed, where Timmy wished his life to be more like an action show.
• Kickin' It' - Ty's "Action High" alias is a nod to the Black Dragon Sensei character who is also named Ty.
