• Cabbage Patch Kids - The Kale Patch Kids are a parody of this brand.
• Garbage Pail Kids - The Compost Kids are a parody of this brand, which parodied the Cabbage Patch Kids. However, the Compost Kids are physical dolls rather than trading cards.
• A Christmas Carol - In Chloe's nightmare, Cosmo, Wanda and Timmy show her as "ghosts of Christmas Past" what happens to her in the future.

Continuity & Easter Eggs

• The title card music for this episode is an instrumental version of the Chloe's Wrong Song.
• When Mr. Turner does the voice for Tommy Tomato it sounds nearly identical to the Oh Yeah! Cartoons version of Cosmo. That voice was meant to mimic the late Phil Hartman.

Goofs

• Jorgen states that Chloe couldn't wish to have the extra Kale Patch Kid due to Da Rules stating it would be copyright infringement to wish for one, but Timmy was able to wish for toys in previous episodes and he was never sued for copyright infringement.
