Temporary Fairy is the ninth episode of Season 7.
Synopsis[]
Cosmo and Wanda are too busy taking care of Poof to tend to an overly adventurous Timmy, so he wishes up a “temporary fairy”. Timmy's temporary fairy, who is Jorgen is more than happy to fulfill Timmy’s wishes, especially the more dangerous ones. Meanwhile, Cosmo thinks that Timmy is missing (and the real Timmy is an imposter), so he thinks that a crazed Beaver is the actual Timmy.
Plot[]
One Saturday morning, Timmy loudly wakes up Cosmo, Wanda and Poof at 5:00 AM, much to their shock. When asked by Wanda, Timmy wants them to grant a list of "extreme wishes" that he prepared throughout the week. Some of those included being a race car driver with an "atomic-powered super race car"—only to be trasported in a merry-go-round,— to "bounce across the moon"—only to be granted a rocket-themed bounce house—, and to "wrestle a giant, man-eating, fire-breathing squid,"—only to be brought to the bathtub with Poof.
Timmy was furious at Wanda for dulling his extreme wishes, but she reasons that she makes them safety-oriented because of Poof. Cosmo, coming out from the ground looking for Timmy throughout the episode, zooms in on Wanda's feet; written on it is the option to have a temporary fairy if the godchild is not satisfied with his/her fairies' services. Without hesitation, Timmy wishes for just that—said fairy is revealed to be Jorgen von Strangle. Wanda warns Timmy about Jorgen's extreme wishing capabilities—the reason why Jorgen is unable to have a permanent godchild—but Timmy ignores her warning and signs the contract.
Initially, the idea worked well, but soon after, Jorgen forces Timmy to do extreme wishes together (although Timmy never explicitly wished for them): skydiving from Jupiter's eighth moon, snowboarding with a crocodile on a volcano, and being chased by green flamingos and a giant worm. Exhausted, Timmy wants Jorgen to leave. Unfortunately, the fine print in the contract reads that only Jorgen can release him (after a year) or if Timmy explodes, whichever comes first. Timmy asks Wanda to wish Jorgen away, but since the former signed the contract, she isn't his godparent for the moment. The only way to get out of the contract is to wish something even Jorgen is afraid of, and looking at Poof, Timmy hatched an idea.
Timmy gives a series of "nampy-pamby baby" wishes to Jorgen—first, for Jorgen to wear a baby diaper, then inside a playpen wearing a bonnet, then as an exhibition at the Fairy World Stadium where the audience is laughing at him. Embarrassed, Jorgen destroys the contract, returning Cosmo, Wanda and Poof back to Timmy. He apologizes that he shouldn't have replaced them and that they are the fairies that he wants despite the babyproofing efforts. After hugging it out, Timmy wishes for a "super-colossal water slide," only to be wished for a smaller one in the backyard, though he is happy with it nonetheless.
