Trivia

  • This marks the third appearance of Foop.
  • Foop breaks the fourth wall twice: When he says the only thing Poof can say is his name and when he says he can't understand what Poof says, unlike the whole school.
  • The Lightsaber duel between Poof and Foop is a reference to the fight between Obi-Wan Kenobi and Darth Maul in Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace.
  • It's revealed that Foop has heat vision just like Timmy.
  • The vehicle Foop arrives in resembles Darth Vader's TIE Advanced. Later, when it is folding, for a brief moment, it resembles an Imperial TIE Fighter from the original Star Wars film trilogy.
  • The music in gym class is the same as the music in Odd Ball.
  • Timmy , Cosmo, & Wanda are only in the beginning & end the episode.
  • When Foop first arrives in front of the school and says, "It's time to teach Poof the three R's: Reading, 'Riting, and Revenge!", it's a play on the original saying "Readin', 'ritin', and 'rithmatic."
  • Apparently the phrase saved by the bell is used in a literal sense in Spellementary School since as explained by the teacher Foop's plan for revenge was ultimately foiled by the final bell.

Goofs

  • There is no mention of the events that transpired in Playdate of Doom nor any reference to how Foop got out of the parallel dimension.
  • When the school is about to be sucked into the black hole, Foop's in his regular clothes.
  • Even though Cosmo was the second-to-last fairy baby to be born, the school is still full of fairy children.
  • When Foop transformed the school, the sign said Smellementry school.

Running Gags

  • The teacher saying that Foop has gotten some type of reward, honor, et cetera, and then saying she really meant it was Foop spelled backwards.
  • Foop swallowing a sprite while laughing evilly.
  • Foop talking to himself.
  • The students throwing food at Foop.
