Starting with the Season 9 premiere, "Fairly OddPet", Sparky became one of the main characters of the show, appearing in every episode after the season premiere until Scary GodCouple where he was absent in some episodes, with those episodes being "Two and a Half Babies", "Desperate Without Housewives", and "Jerk of All Trades". He hasn't appeared in any episode after "Man's Worst Friend" due to negative reception.
