- It is revealed that Timmy had asked his dad one million times to go to the Dimmsdale Aquarium.
Allusions
- The title card is a reference to Superman's symbol, and the plot of the episode is a reference to his origin.
- The name of the cereals that Cosmo and Wanda were disguised as were called Cosmo-Os and Wanda Jacks. This is a reference to two cereals: Cheerios and Apple Jacks.
- Timmy's alter-ego "Beaver Boy" is a reference to a Canadian super-hero named "The Beaver Boy", Capitain Canada's sidekick.
- The "alien baby on board" sign is a clearly spoof on the "baby on board" sign.
