Trivia
- This episode is included in the DVD and VHS Scary GodParents (DVD and VHS).
- This is the final episode to have Gilbert Gottfried voice Dr. Bender and Wendell as well as Wendell's final appearance in the series. Dr. Bender would be voiced by Butch Hartman himself in later episodes he appears in.
- Chip Skylark and Skip Sparkypants are both voiced Chris Kirkpatrick and the only differences in their physical appearances are their hair colors and the color of their clothes.
- This episode reveals that Chip has false teeth instead of real ones. (Dr. Bender was able to pull out his teeth with no problems).
- Much like how wishes/magic relating to love, and romance can only be handled by Cupid, this episode reveals that all wishes/magic involving dental-related matters (such as teeth retrieval) can only be handled by the Toothy Fairy.
- This is the second appearance of Chip Skylark.
- When the teeth are flexing, you can see their "buttocks".
Allusions
- Pulp Fiction - Dr. Bender paraphrases Marsellus: "... I'm going to get medieval on your mouth."
- The National Inquirer - One of the magazines in Dr. Bender's office is called "The National Informer". This is a spoof of the magazine.
- Wonder Woman - The Tooth Fairy's floss lasso is similar to Wonder Woman's lasso.
- Sailor Moon - The fact that nobody recognizes Timmy Turner with his tiara on is a reference to the fact that nobody recognized the girls when they transformed, yet only their clothes would change, and they would have on their head a tiara.
Word of the Episode
- Teeth/Tooth is said by a couple of characters throughout the show.
Goofs
- During the song, Chip Skylark twirled through a picture of himself. In the first shot of that picture, his teeth had only one line. When he twirls through it in the next shot, they have lines defining the individual teeth instead of just one line.
- Chester is listed in the credits despite not speaking.
