Sanjay's Mom is a minor character who briefly appears in a few episodes. She is Sanjay's biological mother.

Character[]

Not much is known about Sanjay's mother, or why she married Sanjay's Stepdad nor the whereabouts of his biological father, but she appears to be his biological mother because she bears a great resemblance to him and he has never referred to her as a stepmother. She has only made a few appearances, almost entirely in group shots, and has one line of dialog in the entire series.

Description[]

Sanjay's mother is of Indian descent and she has a tall and slender figure. She sort of resembles Trixie in the looks of her purple eyes and clothing, but she has long, wavy, armpit-length black hair and her tan skin is the same shade as Sanjay's. She also speaks with an Indian accent like her son Sanjay. She wears a purple turtleneck sweater, darker purple pants, purple triangle dangle earrings, magenta flats with a purple pearl ankle bracelet, for makeup, she wears grey eyeshadow and red lipstick.

Background[]

Sanjay's mother appeared in the episode, Snow Bound along with Mrs. Turner, A.J.'s Mom and Elmer's Mom at a ski resort. They were trying to get away from their kids and husbands, when Mr. Turner came looking for them because he thought his wife was in danger from the Abominable Snowman. She’s married to Sanjay's Stepdad, an American military soldier, and they live on base along with her biological son Sanjay and an unnamed older son of the father who’s also in the military.

Trivia[]

  • She is sometimes mistaken for Trixie's mother, who has never appeared on the show, due to her eye liner.
  • She only has one spoken line in the entire series: "Come, let us take our booty's and shake them!" as she turned on some music.
