*The Fairy Cab makes a second appearance in this episode. It first appeared in Channel Chasers and in both instances it nearly took Cosmo and Wanda away from Timmy until something stopped it (Timmy used the remotes to knock his godparents away from the door in that episode and in this episode Jorgen stated he does not lose his godparents since all of this was really his plan from the very start).

Trivia

  • Remy makes a return in this episode, he is good and helps Timmy at first, but later it was revealed he was still evil all along because he wanted Timmy to lose Cosmo and Wanda. (although he didn't succeed)
  • Apparently Timmy's wish for Remy and his parents spending more time together backfired somehow as they turned the island they were stranded on into an oil business company making Remy miserable again until Juandissimo gave Remy his memory back.
  • Apparently Juandissimo is an infamously bad cook since he ruined all of Jorgen's meals at the latter's favorite restaurant. (though he admitted some of his tears got into the food)

  • Mary Poppins - Timmy's new babysitter is an obvious reference to Mary Poppins, as both fly in a similar manner, both have similar clothes and both have an umbrella for flying.
  • Daytona International Speedway - The Daytona Speedway is an obvious reference to Daytona International Speedway, except this type of track is a short track according to the pictures of Timmy and Remy racing there.
  • Nineteen Eighty-Four -  The "2+2=5" issue is a reference to George Orwell's novel Nineteen Eighty-Four where the government makes lies to protect the people from finding the truth.
