- Princess Mandie seems somewhat to be a spoof of "Xena: Warrior Princess".
- In the Swedish dub, her name is Prinsessa Mandö. "Dö" in Mandö means "Die" in Swedish.
- Despite her aggressive nature she is a bit patient choosing to take out Cosmo and Wanda before going to Mark, (due to them being a lot more powerful than her).
- She did this again in King Chang by shrinking them effectively tampering with their magic in the progress.
- Her name may be a take on "Mandy", a notable female name which is often a nickname for Amanda.
- This is further proven whenever her own name gets mispronounced as "man-dee" instead of its formal one.
- Coincidentally, the word "die" can also be used as a singular term for the plural "dice".
