• We learn that Dev never gets to spend time with his dad because he's always at work, which will foreshadow Dev's future plans and developments in future episodes.
  • This makes Dev very similar to Remy Buxaplenty from the original series. Both are rich kids with parents who they never spend time with, and both have purple fairy godparents because of this.
  • Their fairy godparents also have a prideful and show-offish attitude, though it's a lot more obvious with Juandissimo.
• Dev is lactose intolerant.
