Growing Pains (336)

Pasta Puberty is a stage adolescent fairies go through as a part of growing up for them.

Information[]

When young fairies reach a certain age, their bodies release hormones known as "fairy-mones." Because of this, they begin experiencing pasta version of puberty known as pasta puberty. During this, they grow pasta noodles and produce sauce from their armpits akin to armpit hair and sweat or "pesto pits" and meatballs on their face that's actually "antipasto acne".

They also experience emotional changes such as mozzarella mood swings that make them sad and angry. When particularly upset, the noodles will grow and end up out of their control. They can also cry garlic cloves and smell like spaghetti. Because of their pesto pits produce spaghetti noodles as armpit hair, they need to wear buckets over their shoulders to contain it and garlic bread to soak it up.

Fortunately, this isn't permanent. After puberty, fairies don't have to worry about these symptoms anymore.

If a human child is given fairy-mones, they will grow to the size of a teenager and experience pasta puberty.

Background[]

The concept was first introduced in Growing Pains when Hazel wishes she was 13 so she could go to a PG-13 movie alone. Unfortunately for her, Cosmo and Wanda gave her fairy-mones instead of human hormones, this inducing pasta puberty on her.
