Ohio is known for making a lot of technology, such as transportation equipment, metal products, food processing etc. Ohio is also known for farming soybeans, corn, poultry, dairy products, and also cattle. Columbus is the largest city and capital of the state with a population of 725,228. Ohio was founded on March 1, 1803, making it the 17th state. Cleveland is home to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, which draws many visitors each year. The Ohio River is a major river of the United States and runs along the southern border of Ohio. Ohio, land area wise, is a slightly small state with an area of 44,825 miles. Although it is small, Ohio borders a various amount of states (e.g. Pennsylvania, Kentucky, etc.) and Lake Erie, one of the Great Lakes.
