Odd Pirates is the fifth episode of Season 6.

Plot[]

The Dimmsdale Pirates opening game is today, and everyone except Timmy is going. Timmy wishes he is at the game, but when Wanda lets Poof make the wish, they end up on a real Pirate Ship. The wands get stolen by the parrot, they get trapped in a net, and almost get attacked by crocodiles. When Timmy opens his big mouth, the pirate ship becomes land born. The real pirates attack Pirate Stadium, and the Pirates baseball team helps defeat them.

Synopsis[]

One morning, Timmy is practicing his baseball skills when Wanda comes up to him to tell how Poof is starting to develop his wishing skills. So, Timmy wishes for a baseball, only for Poof to grant him a bowling ball. Despite this, Timmy did not mind, as he is excited to watch the opening game of the Dimmsdale Pirates, that is, until his parents did not allow him due to having only bought two tickets. They entrusted Timmy to Vicky, who then buries him under the ground inside a treasure chest (and heads to watch the game as well). After being freed—and brought out from the ground—, a large amount of traffic is seen on the road with people heading towards the highly anticipated game, much to Timmy's irritation. With this, Timmy wishes to "watch the Pirates in action," with Poof granting his wish (as Wanda suggested him to).

Unfortunately, the said wish leads them to a real pirate ship, but to Wanda's defense, Poof got the "pirate" part right. Nevertheless, Timmy thought it would be fun to battle real pirates, so he wishes that their real swords would be replaced by ballloon-shaped ones and defeated a couple of them—first by hitting one at the foot, then opening up a hatch to let two fall down from it, and throwing three off the ship. Shortly after, Dirtybeard, the captain of the ship, arrives. Speaking some gibberish, he tells Timmy and his fairies to walk the plank after "losing their gold," courtesy of the "translation" made by his parrot. Timmy wishes for him and his fairies to go back on Dimmsdale to get out of this mess, and they did go back to Dimmsdale, that is, while still being in the pirate ship. Wanda, once again, told him that Poof did get them back to the city.

Dirtybeard's parrot grabs Cosmo and Wanda's wands, and the said pirate captures Timmy and his fairies in a net. For letting her grant Poof his wishes, Timmy blames Wanda for dragging them into this mess. She reassured him that those pirates, as long as they are in the sea, can't do any real damage to the city. That is, until Poof grants Timmy's "wish" (due to a technicality) for the ship to have wheels and an engine to drive on the road, escalating the pirates' rampage by first stealing "treasures" inside a gift shop. Wanda wishes to Poof that they would be free of this net; a scissor cuts from above, so they were free, but fall down below the ship where two alligators are leashed, though they were set free by Poof, who mistook them as "kitties."

Meanwhile, Mr. and Mrs. Turner are shown heading to the stadium to watch the game. The pirate ship passes by them; out of jealousy, Mr. Turner chases them and shoots a cannonball in the ship's belly, which eliminates the two alligators threatening Timmy and his fairies. In retaliation, the ship shoots a cannonball towards the car, blasting the couple directly towards the stadium (albeit their car totally leveled). The pirate ship is shown heading to the stadium to collect "gold," that is, the gold-colored people and amenities, locking them inside a treasure chest. Timmy devises a plan with his fairies distracting the pirates, while he goes to the Pirates to give them a pep talk about defending their fans to ensure their million-dollar salaries for playing the game. The Dimmsdale Pirates successfully defeated the pirates and won the game with a score of 22-0.

Timmy successfully swings himself to Dirtybeard to obtain his fairies' wands, and in the process, expels the bone out of the pirate's throat, rendering him able to speak clearly again. The pirate tells Timmy that it was the parrot that wanted the latter's gold, not him; his pleas of asking for help were erroneously "translated" by the parrot. The parrot is about a cannonball to the pirate, until Cosmo, as an ostrich, successfully shoots an egg to the parrot's cannon, foiling the latter's plans. The pirate apologizes to Timmy for his mess and admits that he wanted to be a chef at first, until he went to Pirate School after a bone got stuck in his throat. In response, Timmy wishes for his wish to be fulfilled. In addition, the stadium has been reverted back to normal, and Timmy and his parents get to watch the game on top of the pirate ship until a ball hits the ship's mast, causing its crow's nest to fall down.
