Trivia
- The jobs Mr. Turner had been the same ones the other parents from the beginning of the episode had.
- Apparently the Dimmsdale Space Station loses a lot of cool dads when they choose to stay with their family over going on a space trip after the dads learn that their children are happy with what their fathers are even if they don't have a cool job.
- Crusher returns in Mr. Right.
- Mr. Turner screaming like a girl has one of its biggest roles yet.
- People actually looked up Cooljobs.wand, actually believing it to be a real website.
- Mr. Turner screamed like a girl at the beginning of this episode, and he screamed in a similar way to how he screamed in Dream Goat.
- After almost 13 years, this was the final ever regular episode to be aired on Super RTL in Germany at 11:35 am on January 24, 2016, although TV movies continued to air occasionally until May 5.
- Coincidentally, this episode premiered in the US on January 27, 2003, the same day Super RTL originally began airing the series.
- Super RTL ceasing to air the series led to Nickelodeon Germany starting to air the Nelvana episodes in 2017, as no other free TV-channels aired them anymore.
- Timmy's dad must be at least 42-years-old because he said he be 65 once he returned from his would-be space expedition.
- If Mr. Turner is 42, this also means that he must've been around 32 when Timmy was born.
- Moral: Your parents don't need an awesome job just to be cool.
- Innuendo: Mr. Turner and Chet Ubetcha realizing that Uranus is a planet.

Goofs
- As soon as Timmy's dad was about to touch the finish line then stopped, the next scene he was much further away.
- If you look closely at the student to Crusher's right, the student didn't pick up his/her pencil at all in the flashback of Crusher.
