- Nega-Chin is the Crimson Chin's evil counterpart, much like Nega Timmy is to Timmy Turner, or the Anti-Fairies to Fairies.
- Nega-Chin has yet to make an appearance in the newer episodes since Poof's birth.
- He is a possible reference to the Marvel Comics anti-hero Venom (Of course, before Venom became an anti-hero)
