Mother is a machine made by Mr. Crocker, named after his own mother.

Background
In Teacher's Pet, Mr. Crocker wanted to catch all the fairies in Dimmsdale and created Mother for it. He called it Mother because of the pain and suffering the machine does, much like his mother (Dolores-Day Crocker), did to him. It mixes the DNA off all the species the machine can reach and sends them to a helmet used by the person who wants his DNA mixed. Later in the episode, Timmy, Cosmo, Wanda and Poof got inside Mother before Crocker came back, and altered it from the inside to change Crocker back to normal. Later Timmy put the helmet on Crocker and switched him into various animals until he became his human self.
