Allusions
Superman - Mr. Turner and Mrs. Turner's secret identity costumes are a reference to Clark Kent, the secret identity of Superman.

Spider-Man - The powers of Timmy senses and spider snot are a reference to Spider-Man's "spidey senses" and "spider shot".

Wonder Twins - The morphing power is a reference to the Wonder Twins' power.

Galactus, Devourer of Worlds - Galactimus, Eater of Planets is a reference to the Marvel Comics character.

Silver Surfer - When Cosmo and Wanda were holding a dummy that represented Timmy, they disguise like Silver Surfer. (The only difference is that they use skateboards instead of surfboards)

When Timmy says "They just can't do it all!", the captions display it as "They just can't give it up!".
In this episode, Mr. Turner is seen working at a company called Big Co. But in The Boss Of Me, he is seen working at Pencil Nexus. Although it could be that he was fired, or he resigned Big Co. to go to Pencil Nexus.
The correct way to say this sentence is. "Bye, Timmy! Have a nice day at School!" but due to lack of sleep this is how it was said. "Bye, school! Have a nice day at Timmy!"
In the Dutch dub, when Wanda asks "Which ones?" her mouth moves, but no dialogue is heard. This is because Marloes Van Der Heuvel (the Dutch voice of Wanda) forgot to dub the line in Dutch during the episode's dubbing in 2003.

Mr. Turner: And that's all you need to know about where babies come from.

Timmy: But what's the "machine" for?

Mr. Turner: I'll tell you when you're older.

Mrs. Turner: [Delirious with lack of sleep] Very good, Timmy.

Mr. and Mrs. Turner: Bye, school! Have a nice day at Timmy!

Sheldon Dinkleberg: (laughing at work) Ha ha! Good joke, huh Turner?

Mr. Turner: (glaring) I'm on to you, Dinkleberg...

Timmy: [after his wish on making his parents normal doesn't work] Let me guess.

Dyno Dad (After Galactimus frees himself from Mighty Mom's spider snot): He's tougher than he looks!

Mighty Mom: And he looked pretty tough to start with!

Dyno Dad: (after he is forced to give up his superpowers to save "Timmy") Aww...I'm gonna miss you, meat vision!

Although this episode premiered in 2002, it was made in 2001 according to the credits.
This episode (along with "Knighty Knight") shares the same U.S. air date as the SpongeBob SquarePants episodes "Graveyard Shift/Krusty Love" & The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron, Boy Genius episodes "Normal Boy/Birth of a Salesman" on Nickelodeon.
