Mighty Mom is Judy Neutron's heroic alter ego in the Jimmy Timmy Power Hour. She was created by Timmy after he entered the Neutron universe and hypnotized Judy into believing she's a superhero.
Background[]
In the Jimmy Timmy Power Hour, Judy mistakes Timmy for Jimmy, and attempts to ground him for making a mess in the yard with his inventions. Sheen recommends the Hypno-beam to Timmy, which he takes and uses to hypnotize Judy into a deep trance. Amused by the power of hypnosis, Timmy orders Judy to think she is Mighty Mom. Judy is quickly brainwashed by Timmy's command and "transforms" into Mighty Mom by spinning around. Now fully immersed in her new identity, Mighty Mom begins posing like a superhero and declares herself the super-powered defender of domestic order. She claims that her senses indicate both danger and dirt, and quickly sticks out her hands and runs into the house using her "vacuum-powered flying abilities."
Believing everyday situations are related to her hypnosis-induced superhero fantasy, Mighty Mom is seen ambushing dust bunnies under the couch while demanding that they surrender. An oblivious Hugh comes up to greet her, and she recognizes him as her sidekick Lint Boy. Afterwards, Mighty Mom is seen running around the yard, believing she is flying. She enters the kitchen from the back after calling it her "Mom-lair". She narrowly avoids being targeted by the Decimator Goddard, and Hugh is selected instead.
As the rest of the cast battles the upgraded Goddard in Retroville, Judy remains at home, still convinced that she's Mighty Mom and blissfully unaware of the situation. The hypnotized heroine is seen in the living room confronting an enemy she recognizes as Dr. Mildew, who is really one of Hugh's ducks. After the Decimator Goddard is defeated, Mighty Mom is shown getting weakened by green leftovers in the fridge, stating they are her one true weakness. She passes out from exhaustion as a tired Hugh closes the fridge. This causes Mighty Mom to immediately recover, resuming her trance and "flying" off-screen.
Sometime after this, Judy is freed from hypnosis and regains her senses, though this is not seen.
Trivia[]
- Mighty Mom's weakness to green leftovers is a reference to Superman's weakness to kryptonite.
- Judy never finds out about the Decimator Goddard, since she was hypnotized during his entire transformation.
