Trivia
- This is the fourth episode to have a title start with Love, the first was Love Struck!, the second was Love at First Height, and the third was Love Triangle.
- This is the second (and final) time that Mrs. Crocker appears in an episode without her son. The first time was back in "Miss Dimmsdale."
- Peaches is Dinkleberg's second dog after Dinkledog.
- This is the first time that characters break the fourth wall as running gags (when they said that things float over people's heads).
- This is the tenth episode in Season 9 where Denzel Crocker does not appear in at any moment, however, he is mentioned.
- It was revealed in this episode that Mr. Turner wants none of his family members to have contact with any family members of the Dinklebergs.
- This is the only episode where somebody (Timmy's dad in this case) refers to Sparky as "Sparky Turner".
- Wanda breaks the fourth wall by looking directly at the audience while saying, "Well, VooDoo was all over him."
- In this episode, Cosmo doesn't have a problem being with peaches but in a later episode called "A Sash and a Rash", he is allergic to peaches.
Allusions
- Love at First Sight - The title is a pun on the saying.
- This is the second episode title to reference that pun. The first was Love at First Height.
- Princess Peach - Peaches has a similar name to the Super Mario character "Princess Peach".
Continuity & Easter Eggs
- Mrs. Ledergerber from the episode "Frenemy Mine" is mentioned by Mr. Turner in this episode.
Running Gags
- Mr. Turner and Sparky battling out for love with Peaches.
- Sparky describing Peaches (and, later, Voodoo's sister) as 'beautiful' along with another adjective that gets immediately contradicted by what the latter is doing, followed by Sparky dryly saying, "Well, she's beautiful."
- Things floating over people's heads.
- Mr. Turner being naked outside.
- Mr. Turner listing the stuff that's wrong with him.
Goofs
- At the end of the episode, Peaches falls in love with Voodoo the Timberwolf, although earlier, Mr. Turner was trying to find female dogs for Sparky to fall in love with, and Voodoo was the last choice suggesting Voodoo is a girl. However, Voodoo may have actually been a boy and Mr. Turner was just too clueless to check.
- Timmy wished that Mr. Turner would like Peaches as much as Sparky did, but Sparky LOVES Peaches, and it's against Da Rules to wish up love.
- Mr. Turner and Sparky bring Peaches chocolates, but both of them (especially Sparky) should know that chocolate is dangerous for dogs to eat (although Mr. Turner might not know due to his stupidity, or they might not actually be chocolates).
- Mr. Turner should have never been in love with Peaches, because according to Da Rules, you can't use magic to make others fall in love.
- This episode's opening sequence is absent from recent U.S. airings.
- The title card and opening credits are absent in Paramount+ UK and Ireland as well.
