Los padrinos mágicos: El desafío de Timmy (translation: The Fairly OddParents: Timmy's Challenge) is a Spanish-language stage musical based on The Fairly OddParents. It was licensed by Nelvana (the international distributor of the series) and co-produced by Imagina Kids and DT Entertainment. It first debuted on April 5, 2007, at the Teatro Gran Rex in Buenos Aires, Argentina.[1] Months later,[2] the show would continue to tour across Latin America and Asia,[citation needed] including Brazil, where it was performed in Portuguese.[3] Its last known production was in Colombia in 2014.[4] In each show, different costumes would be produced, as well as smaller sets for smaller theaters.
Not much information is known about the stage play, although some of the recordings from the stage play by people who came to the show can be found. Songs performed in the Spanish productions of the show were released on the CD Los padrinos mágicos! En vivo.
Synopsis[]
Timmy has to make a rocket for a contest in science class to win a one-of-a-kind superhero DVD. However, the contest is really a ploy for Mr. Crocker to expose his fairy godparents.[5]
