The eighth season first aired on February 12, 2011 with the episode, "Love Triangle" and ended on December 29, 2011 with the episode, "Meet the OddParents". This season is the shortest one in terms of episode total, featuring only 5 episodes; however, all of the episodes are 30 minutes long excluding the TV movie, "Timmy's Secret Wish!" which is 1 hour long. This season began airing in the United States even though there were still several Season 7 episodes that had yet to be broadcast, including Love Triangle's preceding lead-in episode, "Spellementary School". However, the unaired episodes of Season 7 are available on Season 7 DVD.
