The fifth season debuted on July 2, 2004, with the episode "Crash Nebula". It ended with the season finale "Timmy the Barbarian!" and "No Substitute For Crazy!" which aired on November 25, 2006. The series finale of the Jimmy Timmy Power Hour was "The Jerkinators" on July 21, 2006, which was intended to be the end of both this series and Jimmy Neutron until the uncancellation of The Fairly OddParents in 2007.

- There were 2 years, 4 months, and 24 days between the airing of the Season 5 premiere and finale. The only season that took longer is Season 7 with 3 years and 30 days.
- "Crash Nebula" is the only episode to air in 2004.
- In the UK, Ireland and Middle East, this is the first season to be PAL-pitched. This would continue until the end of the first half of Season 10.
