• Apparently there are a lot of real fake things in Hollywood since some of the people in Hollywood are shown covering up something that would look bad or ugly to them. (Cosmo and Wanda both make note of this while Timmy is in Hollywood)
• This episode is part one of the possible Adam / Timmy / Chin relationship. Part two would be Catman Meets The Crimson Chin.
• The Bronze Kneecap broke the 4th wall when he got sucked into the book.
• In this episode, Jay Leno and Adam West both guest starred as themselves.
• This episode and "Movie Magic" have the same title in the Italian dub of the series ("Ciak, si gira").

Running Gags

• Adam West telling someone that they'd be perfect for the role of Cleft.

• Every time someone says "Look, it's TV's Adam West!", Adam replies "Where?".

Goofs

• When The Bronze Kneecap’s hand comes out from Crimson Chin’s comic book, while in close-up, the scene accidentally changes from the audition background to the filming stage background with the words “STAGE 7” behind it before fading to the director’s hand holding a megaphone.
• As The Bronze Kneecap flies across the sky before crashing into the trailer, Cosmo/Clefto's chin is pink instead of green.

Production Notes

• Although "Lights...Camera...Adam!" and "A Bad Case Of Diary-Uh!" aired on June 1, 2004, they were actually made in 2002 according to the credits. They are also the final episodes to be made in 2002.
  • This episode completed production in November 2002.
