Trivia

  • The Hat that Cosmo is wearing when he is in his rich form is almost the exact same as the one that Evil Timmy wore in Nega-Timmy.
  • When no one is attending the neighborhood watch program that dad set up, the exact same tumbleweed with eerie music gag from Anchor's Away was used.
  • No one ever unmasked the burglar on screen.
  • This episode takes place after Weirdos on a Train because Mr. Crocker know Mr. Dinkleberg.

Running Gags

Allusions

  • Sherlock Holmes - The episode contains several references to the famous character Sherlock Holmes like Mr. Turner smoking a pipe with a detective hat.
  • Godzilla - Dad mentioned watching a movie about a giant green lizard attacking a city, which possible means he was watching Godzilla.
  • The Incredibles - The thief' appearance is similar to Lucius when he was saving the people from the building on fire.

Goofs

  • throughout the episode the ducks' eye color is blue, but when Mr. Turner storms out of his living room and when Timmy talks to Cosmo and Wanda shortly after, the ducks' eye color is red. It returns to blue when Mr. Crocker walks out the door after being convinced that the robber is Mr. Dinkleberg.
  • Cosmo and Wanda's wands were taken away, like in many other episodes the animators forget about Poof's rattle.
  • Since it is against Da Rules to wish up money, it is unknown how they could have gotten the gold or the diamonds. It is possible that since they are just matter that is considered valuable by humans, Fairies can poof them up.
