- This is the second Season 9 episode where Mr. Turner and Mr. Crocker work together for plot-related reasons. The first was "Weirdos on a Train" and the third would be "Desperate Without Housewives".
- The hat that Cosmo is wearing when he is in his rich form is almost the exact same as the one that Nega-Timmy wore in the episode of the same name.
- When no one is attending the neighborhood watch program that Dad set up, the exact same tumbleweed with an eerie music gag from "Anchor's Away" was used.
- No one ever unmasked the burglar on screen.
- This episode takes place after Weirdos on a Train because Mr. Crocker knows Mr. Dinkleberg.
- From this episode, the voice of Wanda changes in Latin América. This is due to the withdrawal of Anna Silvetti, the original voice. From this episode, Jackeline Junguito begins to bend.
- For some odd reasons, Poof appears in the middle of the episode and then disappears again.
- According to this episode, Mr. Turner is hinted to be a Sherlockian which is someone who's a Sherlock Holmes die hard fan as he said he watched every single movie starting him and bought a detective kit.
- The part where Mr. Turner says that he watched a movie about a giant green lizard that destroyed Poughkeepsie, was most likely a reference to Godzilla. However, instead of Japan, the movie mentioned takes place in the town of Poughkeepsie, New York.
Running Gags
- Mr. Crocker wants people to call him "The Falcon".
- Mr. Turner calling Timmy "Lucy Goosey".
Allusions
- Sherlock Holmes - The episode contains several references to the famous character Sherlock Holmes like Mr. Turner smoking a pipe with a detective hat.
- Godzilla - Dad mentioned watching a movie about a giant green lizard attacking a city, which possibly means he was watching Godzilla.
- The Incredibles - The burglar's appearance is similar to Lucius when he was saving the people from the building on fire.
Goofs
- Throughout the episode the ducks' eye color is blue, but when Mr. Turner storms out of his living room and when Timmy talks to Cosmo and Wanda shortly after, the ducks' eye color is red. It returns to blue when Mr. Crocker walks out the door after being convinced that the burglar is Mr. Dinkleberg.
- Cosmo and Wanda's wands were taken away, like in many other episodes the animators forget about Poof's rattle.
- Since it is against Da Rules to wish up money, it is unknown how they could have gotten the gold or the diamonds. It is possible that since they are just matter that is considered valuable by humans, Fairies can poof them up
