James Kevin "Jim" Ward (May 19, 1959 - December 10, 2025) was a retired voice actor who had contributed to a large number of video games and movies. He co-hosted The Stephanie Miller Show, a nationally-syndicated liberal radio talk show which features a number of his impersonations of political figures and other celebrities and newsmakers. On the show, it was revealed that Jim went to the University of California, Los Angeles, where his father, Don Ward, was a professor of German and folklore, he was the voice of Bucky Bucks and the speaker of the show. He also did additional voices on Treasure Planet and Home on the Range. One of his most memorable roles is Captain Qwark from the Ratchet and Clank game series.
In 2021, Ward had to retire from acting as he was diagnosed with both COVID-19 and Alzheimer's. He resided at the Silverado Beverly Place Memory Care Community in Los Angeles, CA.[1]
On December 10, 2025, it was announced by Stephanie Miller that Ward had died, after being notified by his wife.[2]
