Trivia
- This is the fourth episode since his introduction in Fairly Odd Baby in which Poof does not appear.
- This is one of the few episodes in Season 9 where Sparky is absent. The others are Two and a Half Babies and Desperate Without Housewives.
- Since neither Poof nor Sparky were present, this is the first episode since "The Jerkinators!" to only feature Timmy, Cosmo, and Wanda as main characters.
- This is the first episode since The Big Scoop! in which 2 main characters were absent.
- For some unknown reason, the Fairy Council looks different than in previous episodes. It is possible that since they are all powerful, they can alter their appearance. It is possible that this is their true appearance and the other appearance is to look uniform in a public setting. Also, there are only three members instead of four, with the purple one being absent. It is possible that he stayed at the Council Chambers. This is similar to A Fairly Odd Movie: Grow Up, Timmy Turner!, except it was the green one that was missing.
- Dark Laser appears as a cameo in a poster in this episode which also makes the only appearance of Dark Laser in Season 9.
- This episode premiered in the Philippines on March 3, 2015.
- This is one of the few episodes in which Jorgen is friendly with Timmy, another example is "Wishology!."
Allusions
- The Simpsons - When Mr. Turner gets angry with Sheldon Dinkleberg by money tree, Dinkleberg says "Okilly-dokilly!", which is one of Ned Flanders' catchphrases.
- Jerk of All Trades - This episode has the same name as the band.
- SpongeBob SquarePants - This episode has many elements from the episode "SpongeBob You're Fired".
Running Gags
- Raccoons taking money from the money tree.
- Mr. Turner getting electrocuted by a hot dog.
Goofs
- Juandissimo takes Jorgen's job of monitoring rule-breaking wishes during this episode. However, in "Cosmo Rules", it's said that only members of the Von Strangle family can enforce "Da Rules". Plus, that same episode says that rule free wishes are controlled by Da Rules book, which means that rule free wishes cannot be done unless Da Rules is changed to allow them to be done. During the episode, Timmy was able to make wishes against "Da Rules" and get them granted. Also, when Timmy usually made wishes that are against the rules, the wands only make farting noises.
- Like in A Fairly Odd Movie: Grow Up, Timmy Turner!, there are only three members on the council. However, it is the purple one that is missing, not the turquoise one.
- Jorgen shouldn't be able to shapeshift to and from a mussel without his wand.
Continuity & Callbacks
- Another past episode (Cosmo Rules) have a similar elements to this, Both episodes focus on Timmy making wishes breaking the rules.
Quotes
- Juandissimo: You smell lovely!.
- Wanda: It's "Eaux de Taco," you're favorite, if I recall, ¡Pavo loco!
- Juandissimo: I love it when you call me your "crazy turkey!"
