Hazel's relationships with other characters. Hazel Wells, the main protagonist of the "A New Wish" series, has a number of family, friends, love interests, and enemies.

Marcus Wells and Angela Wells[]
Hazel is shown to have a healthy and loving relationship with her parents, especially compared to Timmy and his somewhat rocky relationship with his parents. However, the fact that Marcus and Angela decided to move when Hazel wasn't completely comfortable with the idea puts a small strain on their relationship in the first episode, as Hazel initially tries hiding her feelings, only to try to run away after a bad day at her new school. However, after her adventure as a fly, she starts to accept the changes and reconciles with her parents.
In A Dinosaur in Dimmadelphia, Hazel is shown happily playing dinosaurs with her parents.
In Weird Science, after the science fair Hazel asks her parents if they’re disappointed she didn’t win. Both reassure her that they’re not and are proud of her. Marcus informs her that science is about learning irregardless of success and Angela informs her that she can learn from her failures and is confident she can achieve success in the future.
In Work Her Magic, Hazel attempts to bond with her mother by wishing herself into her new assistant. When Angela receives a call from the school that Hazel is sick, she immediately drops her important meeting to help her daughter. At the end of the episode Angela tells Hazel about her day and her new assistant reminded her of Hazel. They hug each other and Angela tells her how much she loves her.
In Potazel Potahzel, Angela scolds her for attempting to throw out her dinner and tries to convince her to expand her palate to more than just french fries. At the end of the episode after learning her lesson, Hazel cooks dinner for her parents and they are proud of her for listening to their advice.
Antony Wells[]
Antony is Hazel's older brother, whom she loves and looks up to very much; she calls him her "best friend" and it's implied he was somewhat of an anchor to her. As a result, him moving to college makes it even harder for her to adjust to the new changes in her life. Hazel often speaks of various fun experiences she had with him, which shows how strong their bond was.
Antony finally comes to visit Hazel at the end of The Treble with Rivals. The two are very clearly excited to see each other again, especially Hazel, who immediately goes to hug him.
In Rattleconda Racers, it's shown that Antony developing a new life outside of her at college, even meeting a girl named Deja that he calls his "best friend", is making Hazel jealous and worried that the two are drifting apart. After clarifying that Antony wants Deja to be his girlfriend, Hazel is more understanding of what he’s going through. Despite that, the two still clearly love each other, with both of them merely having their own struggles with adjusting to their new lives.

So far, Hazel's relationship to Cosmo and Wanda is quite similar to the relationship Timmy had with them.
Cosmo and Wanda actually decided to come out of their 10,000 year long retirement after hearing how distraught Hazel was about moving, not being with her brother and adjusting to a new school. Just like with Timmy, they have a somewhat surrogate parent figure relationship with her, especially Wanda, as they clearly care for her and want to make her happy, but also use the wishes to teach her valuable life lessons and they also treat her like their own daughter.

Jasmine Tran[]
Hazel and Jasmine
Jasmine becomes Hazel's first friend at Dimmadelphia Enrichment Academy.
Their friendship starts in Teacher's Pal, where Jasmine approaches Hazel during lunch and mentions that she saw her doing "cool stuff" with the teachers. Jasmine then makes Hazel laugh by making a mushroom pun.
In Fearless, it's revealed that while Hazel loves horror movies due to her watching them with Antony before he left for college, Jasmine hates them due to having a lot of fears. Hazel, being disappointed that Jasmine doesn't want to watch horror movies with her, wishes that Jasmine was fearless, which results in Jasmine's fears being let loose into the school. Hazel ends up having to defeat them by helping Jasmine confront and overcome her fears.
In The Wellsington Hotellsington,
Near the end of the episode, Hazel gets confronted with her own fears; namely, she realizes that the reason why she wanted to watch horror movies with Jasmine was because she wanted to recreate a dynamic she had with Antony and because she's scared of change. Hazel promises to be brave from then on. At the end, even though Jasmine got rid of her fears and is willing to try watching horror movies with Hazel, Hazel suggests doing something they can both enjoy instead.

Dev Dimmadome[]
Dev was Hazel's enemy throughout the first half of the show but in A New Dev-Elopment, he became her friend after she realizes that he doesn't get much attention from his dad.
In Battle of the Dimmsonian, she reconciles with Dev and realizes that she has fairy godparents like he does.
In Operation: Birthday Takeback, Dev ends their friendship after finding out that the reason his dad hasn't been spending more time with him was because he was going after her.

Toni The Ant[]

When Toni and Hazel first met, they first screamed in fear at the sight of each other. Then Hazel said not to move because the fly trap will close on movement. But Toni still freaked out. Hazel then asked her what she was doing in the fly trap in the first place because she thought ants lived in colonies. Toni then explained that she was doing some job and smelled nectar she also explained that ants have different jobs, and her job is to find food. Hazel asks her if her colony is ok with her leaving. She said that they're happy for her and loves her job she is sad that they had to be separated for a while but in the end, she always comes back to her folks. Hazel then asks Toni this: "What if you forget all about them?", she asked this because she's worried that her brother Antony will forget her and doesn't want to see her anymore. Toni laughed at this saying it will never happen because the time she spends away makes her appreciate her colony even more. She then said that People got to live their own life and introduces herself saying that her name is Toni and Hazel does the same and then they shake hands (or legs). When Hazel got turned back to normal, she thanks Toni for the talk and tearfully watches her go back to her colony. So overall Hazel and Toni share a deep bond and she's the second "Antoni" she knows and became fast friends.
