Trivia

• This is the second episode where Hazel wishes to become older, the first one being "Work Her Magic".
• The plot of the episode is similar to the original series episode "Love at First Height," since both characters wished to be teenagers (Timmy as a 16-year old and Hazel as a 13-year-old).
• The fairy equivalent of puberty is “pasta puberty”, which is basically the same except with Italian cuisines substituting human hormones.
  • When fairies reach a certain age powerful fairy-mones cause big emotional and physical changes, like peso pits, antipasto acne, and even mozzarella mood swings.

• According to an early episode synopsis, Hazel was originally planned to go through actual puberty, but this was changed later on in production.
• This is currently the first and only episode where Peri appears without Dev.
• Moral: Growing up isn't all it's cracked up to be. It'll be a while before you grow older and unlock more privileges, so just accept who you are right now and wait until the time comes.
• Sheldon Dinkleberg appears for the first time since "Dimmsdale's Got Talent?," being seen in multiple photos. This is also the first time Dinkleberg appears without Mr. Turner.
• Hazel's teenager hair somewhat resembles that of Lisa and Maggie Simpson.

Continuity & Easter Eggs

• Peri appears to be living at Cosmo and Wanda’s following the events of “Best of Luck," possibly referencing Irep's claim that Peri quit being a fairy godparent.

Errors

• Although the episode ends with Hazel learning to wait for puberty to come naturally, she's 10 years old, which is the average age that girls begin puberty in real life. So she should be entering puberty now.
