Godchildren are miserable human kids that have been deemed unhappy enough to receive fairy godparents.

Information[]

Fairy Godparents are assigned to children of the dominant species on Earth[1]. The godchild must be miserable or unhappy in some form, which can be due to a variety of things. This includes but is not limited to; negligent parents[2][3], abusive babysitters, lack of friends, and even potentially damaging personality traits[4][5]. Fairy Godparents and God-kids make up a "Fairy God-family", this commonly seems to include one godchild and one godparent. However, some godchildren will get pairs, such as Timmy with Cosmo and Wanda, due to them being married. It's also been shown on a few occasions these god-families can include two godchildren. This can be due to having siblings who are both miserable[6][7]. If there is a shortage of fairy godparents available, unrelated children who live near each other may share fairies.[8]

Once a godchild reaches adulthood, they will lose their fairies[9] and all memory of having them. This does not appear to define "adulthood" as becoming a legal adult, as a godchild can keep their fairies past 18 years old if they are still maturity-wise a child.[10] A godchild can also lose their fairies if they are either deemed to no longer need them, or if they say "I'm happy and I don't need fairy godparents anymore"[11]. They can also lose them due to a major violation of Da Rules, a major example being revealing their fairies' existence to other humans.

Centuries ago, fairies and Anti-Fairies waged a war over who would be the one to have godchildren. After reaching a stalemate (and after trying to settle things with a game of tiddlywinks, which they deemed too painful), the fairies and Anti-Fairies agreed there was one nonviolent way to determine who would win the right to have godchildren: an annual bake-off. In the unlikely event the Anti-Fairies win the bake-off, they will swap positions with their fairy counterparts and inherit the right to have godchildren until the next bake-off.[12]

Flappy Bob Head Pixie & Sanderson Was found in a Kansas cornfield as a baby and raised by Pixies (from a distance) as part of a 37 year plan to take over Fairy World and Earth, molding him into a businessman who believed boring and dull were fun.

In School's Out!: The Musical, this plan is set into motion, setting off a chain of events which results in kids ruling the world. This forces Jorgen to pull all fairy godparents from Earth, giving Pixies the power to legally be godparents. They then formally assign themselves to Flappy, so he can mold the Earth and Fairy World into his (their) boring and dull image. Ultimately, Flappy discovers the plan and forces HP and Sanderson to reverse all the damage.
