Go Go Racer is a television program that appeared in The Fairly OddParents television special, "Channel Chasers".
Information
This show is a parody of the Japanese cartoon Mach Go Go Go, known more popularly as Speed Racer, which involved a young race car driver and his family and his girlfriend. The absurd danger of the racing is parodied, as well as the main character's gadget-enhanced race car, and his relationship with a mysterious rival racer.
Background
This show is the eleventh show visited in "Channel Chasers", after Timmy Turner wished for a Magic TV Remote that allowed him to travel through television as if the programs were real worlds. Timmy participates in a race, despite the father (a parody of Pops from Speed Racer) warning him of the danger of the race and refuses to let him participate. The masked man, who had been following Timmy through several television programs, hijacks one of the race cars and pursues Timmy in it as he tries to talk to Timmy, causing several crashes and explosions along the way.
Timmy uses various devices in his race car, a parody of the Mach 5's load out, such as jumping suspension and lasers that clear the way through foliage. Timmy manages to outwit the masked man and wins the race, but is eventually yelled at again by his Pops for disobeying him and getting himself hurt, causing him to move onto the next television program as he was already tired of being screamed at by adults in the real world and realized that he could've stayed at home.
Cosmo and Wanda also appeared in the cartoon as a monkey and little boy respectively, a parody of Spritle, the titular character's little brother and his pet chimpanzee Chim-Chim from Speed Racer.
