[The episode begins with Timmy getting brain freeze, while sitting at the table sucking a slush though a straw.]

  • Timmy: ARGHHH!!!!

[He sets it down and rubs his temples in pain. Cosmo and Wanda poof in.]

  • Wanda: What's wrong, Timmy?
  • Timmy: Brain freeze... ate Sloppy Slush... too fast...
  • Cosmo: What is this "brain" you speak of? (grabs Timmy's Sloppy Slush and sucks it all down. He wipes his mouth and waits for the pain) Ahhh.... I got nothin'.
  • Wanda: That's not surprising.
  • Mr. Turner: (offscreen) Oh son!

[Cosmo and Wanda poof into slushes just as Mr. Turner enters.]

  • Mr. Turner: Your scream of pain reminded me that I have a son - who can help me clean the attic. (grabs Timmy and yanks him out of the room)
  • Cosmo: (grabs his own straw and sucks himself dry) Still nothin.'
  • Wanda: Still not surprised!

[Mr. Turner and Timmy stand in the attic among the dusty boxes and crates.]

  • Mr. Turner: Ah, the attic! So full of memories. Now let's throw them all out!

[Cosmo and Wanda poof in, replacing the rackets].

  • Wanda: Isn't this a little obvious?
  • Cosmo: Oh quit being so high strung!
  • Timmy: (tiny glass box on his mother's hope chest) Dad, what's this on top of Mom's giant Hope Chest?
  • Mr. Turner: That? That's my Tiny Box of Dreams.

[It slips out of Timmy's hands and hits the ground shattering into many pieces.]

  • Timmy: Oops. Sorry, Dad.
  • Mr. Turner: Oh, don't worry about it, Timmy. My dreams were shattered years ago.
  • Timmy: How many years ago?
  • Mr. Turner: How old are you?

[Meanwhile, Timmy pulls a book out of one of the boxes.]

  • Timmy: Here's something I thought I'd never say about a book - COOL!

[The cover of the comic shows. "STEVIE SPARKS AND THE COMET PIRATES".]

  • Timmy: "Stevie Sparks and The Comet Pirates?" Who's Stevie Sparks?!?
  • Mr. Turner: The "Tween of Tomorrow!" Just your average kid who no one understands who lives... (grabs a flashlight and lights it under his chin for the scary effect) ...in the mysterious future of the 21st century.

[Later, Timmy sits in bed reading his book. Cosmo and Wanda hover behind him, reading over his shoulder.]

  • Timmy: Look at all this cool stuff we should have, but don't! (flips pages aa there are drawings of Jet Cars, Rockets, Picture phones and Robots) Rockets to the moon colony. Picture phones. And robots! Lots of robots servants - who do all the hard work for us!
  • Cosmo: Yeah, those would be great.
  • Wanda: What hard work do you do?
  • Cosmo: This wand is heavier than it looks, ya know.
  • Timmy: (yawns) Okay, it's official. I wish the whole world was futuristic and high tech just like it is in this book.

[Timmy puts the book on his nightstand. The cover is dusty, but we can see robots hugging humans on it.]

  • Wanda: But Timmy you only read the first chapter; don't you think...

[Timmy instantly falls asleep, and snores.]

  • Cosmo: Wow! You actually bored him to sleep! Now do me!
  • Wanda: Cosmo, I...

[Cosmo instantly snaps to sleep and snores. Wanda sighs and poofs with the text, "Future Shock!" The next morning, Timmy stirs in bed and hears Chip Skylark singing "My Shiny Teeth." Timmy wakes up to find Chip is standing beside his bed singing him awake.]

  • Timmy: Chip? Chip Skylark? (waves his arm through Chip, it disappears for a second and reveals it was a hologram projected by his new futuristic alarm clock) What? AutoWaker 200? With Atomic Snooze Power! Sweet!

[He hits the snooze button, and the Chip hologram falls asleep standing up. Cosmo and Wanda poof out of their cube-like fishbowl in futuristic garb.]

  • Wanda: Timmy, welcome to yesterday's future that is the new today.
  • Cosmo: What she said!

[Robotic hangs pull Timmy out of bed and set him on a conveyer belt that takes him right into the bathroom. The robots helped Timmy with the shower, toothbrush, and a power drill. Three seconds later Timmy, wearing that one-piece shimmering jumpsuit. Then, A robotic arm reaches out of the bathroom and drops his pink cap on his head. Later, Timmy sits in a floating chair that transport him down the star and joins Mrs. Turner and Mr. Turner, who are sitting in floating chairs at a futuristic-themed kitchen table. Mr. Turner and Mrs. Turner wear jumpsuits like Timmy, but Dad's has a tie.]

  • Mrs. Turner: What a lovely day!
  • Timmy: It is?

[In the window, the weather in the outside was lightening and rain. Mrs. Turner picks up a remote and clicks it at the window. The weather instantly changes to sunny and cloudless.]

  • Mrs. Turner: It is now!

[A Robo-maid carries over a platter with many food discs on it. She puts one on Timmy's plate.]

  • Robo-maid: Minor Turner Unit, here are your waffles.
  • Timmy: (eats a tiny food disc and it reveals to be huge waffle as he swallowed it. Then, he checks out other choices in their labeled cups) Orange juice, grape juice, apple juice. (scoops a handful of juice discs into his pocket) I'll save those for later.
  • Mrs. Turner: Well, I have to catch the 9:15 rocket to the moon. Those lunar houses don't sell themselves; you know.

[A robot carries Mrs. Turner and they both exits the kitchen.]

  • Mr. Turner: (to Timmy) Actually, they do! But don't tell your mom.
  • Timmy: Dad shouldn't you be heading to your work, too?
  • Mr. Turner: Nah. The Big Brain has all the robots doing everything for us? We even have robot neighbors!

[On the window, Dinklebot waves at them.

  • Dinklebot: Salutations, Neighbor Unit.
  • Mr. Turner: Dinklebot...
