Frederator Studios is an independent American animated cartoon studio founded by Fred Seibert in 1997, with its first series launching in 1998. The studio focuses primarily on artists who write their own shorts, series, and movies. Their slogan is "Original Cartoons since 1998." The headquarters were located in New York City until 2004 when they moved to Los Angeles.
Television cartoons
Frederator's debut production was the cartoon short incubator, a television series called Oh Yeah! Cartoons, which later spun-off three series: The Fairly OddParents, ChalkZone, and My Life as a Teenage Robot, in addition to 51 original short cartoons by a unique group of creators including the first films by Fairly OddParents creator Butch Hartman.
Headquarters
Frederator's headquarters are in the Bowker Building in Midtown Manhattan, New York City.[1][2] The headquarters were originally in a former Hanna Barbera building in Los Angeles. The company later moved to the 253 Fifth Avenue building in Midtown Manhattan, where it stayed until 2004 and moved back to California.[3]
