Flipsie is a flipping dog that Timmy brought to life with his magic copy machine in Hard Copy as well as Dark Laser from a comic book. Dark Laser adores Flipsie and later decides to keep him. Since his first appearance, he is usually shown alongside Dark Laser.

Information

Description

Flipsie is a small, black and white Dalmatian-like toy dog that does an electronic bark before jumping and flipping in the air then landing back on its feet.

Background

Dark Laser found Flipsie after both of them had been wished to life by Timmy Turner's magic copying machine. Dark Laser took an immediate liking to Flipsie. After Dark Laser was sent back to the ads and later Unwish Island without Flipsie, he called Timmy to return Flipsie (Flipsie ended up with "Dancer" in Cosmo's brain). Although not shown, Flipsie was returned to Dark Laser.

In nearly all of Dark Laser's subsequent appearances, he usually has Flipsie on hand and brings the toy out to do a flip and cheer him up. Flipsie is also Dark Laser's most trusted adviser, unintentionally (since he's non-existent) answering Laser's "Flip once for yes and twice for no" sort of questions. He seems to be based on the "Evil Cat" meme (a villain stroking a cat on his lap). Flipsie is an obvious reference to robotic dog toys.
