Spoiler warning: Plot or ending details follow. |
After finding Missy's phone, Timmy waits for her to come pick it up at his house. During the wait, Timmy shares about his gigantic crush on Missy and informs Cosmo and Wanda how beautiful and caring Missy is; unfortunately, he hasn't been able to talk to her due to his nervousness. Suddenly, the doorbell rings. Seeing that Missy is here, Timmy gets nervous, but Wanda reassures him and tells him to just be himself. Disastrously, Timmy swallows a moth while opening the door for his classmate, causing him to cough and hack in front of his dream girl, much to her confusion.
At school, Timmy sees Missy talking to an athletic jock, so he wishes to be a jock. Much to his dismay, he gets immediately thrown into a game of football and is tackled into the dirt. After his violent experience, Timmy sees that Missy is now talking to a sensitive guitar-playing boy. Feeling the need to become the boy Missy would love, Timmy wishes he was a sensitive guy with a guitar. Again, his plan backfires and he becomes a little too sensitive, even crying when he strums the firm strings on the guitar. In the hallways, Timmy sees Missy talking to a goth kid. Desperately wanting Missy to like him, Timmy wishes he was emo, making him not care about anything. Bearing black shaggy hair and wearing black eyeliner, Timmy sits emotionless on his bed, empty of any happiness or care. Even when Cosmo poofs a car onto Timmy's dad, Timmy simply sighs. Because of Timmy's new personality change, he now refuses to take the time to make any wishes, forcing Jorgen Von Strangle to poof up and threaten to take his fairies away if he doesn't make a wish by sunset. Luckily, Cosmo has a plan. As the sun is going down, Timmy sits on a grassy hill, blankly staring at the golden sight. All of a sudden, Missy appears, asking him for a kiss. Being emo, Timmy couldn't care less and he locks lips with Missy for a few seconds before he resumes watching the sunset. A panicked Wanda then appears and tells Missy that the plan didn't work, revealing that it is actually Cosmo in a Missy disguise. Realizing that he kissed Cosmo, Timmy shouts and spits in disgust, free from his depressed behavior for a brief moment. He then wishes for him to be the boy he was before—not athletic, not sensitive, and not emo—just himself. Suddenly, the real Missy appears and confesses to Timmy that she likes him back. The two kids then go off to a movie, and the episode irises out.
