Trivia

  • This episode is similar to "A Mile in My Shoes" from the original series, since both characters wished to be a fairy, though Cosmo and Wanda never became humans in this episode.
  • Magical Backup returns from "Fairy Idol and The Same Game", but now it's shown that, though fairies are immortal, they can die from Magical Backup, and those that do are mourned and commemorated. This will later be referenced in "The Battle of Big Wand."
  • The Big Wand is now powered a macro-chip that powers all the wands.
  • We learn that Hazel's least favorite snack is trail mix.

Allusions

  • Bad - Lezah's theme resembles that of Michael Jackson's Bad 1987 song.
  • DC Super Hero Girls (2019 TV series) - Lezah's hair resembles Leslie/Livewire's hairstyle.

Continuity & Easter Eggs

  • This is the third Fairy Con shown in the series, the first two being shown in Cosmo Con and Fairy Con.
  • Some of the fairies that died to Magical Backup appeared as background characters in the original series.

Errors

  • One of the deceased fairies was said to have been born in 1888, but according to "Fairly Odd Baby," Cosmo, who is over 10,000 years old, was the last fairy born for centuries until Poof was born. However, this could be explained with time travel, as similarly, Cosmo and Wanda are stated to have taken a 10,000 years vacation prior to meeting Hazel, but, at most, the time that has passed in the human world since they had Timmy as their godchild can be measured in decades given many returning characters are older, but still alive and within human lifespans.
  • Since Hazel accidentally created Lezah after becoming a fairy, it's weird that an Anti-Timmy (or Ymmit) never showed up in "A Mile In My Shoes" or "A Fairly Odd Summer". This could be because Timmy never got the certificate to be a fairy like how Hazel did in this episode.
