Escalator Land is an amusement park near Dimmsdale that only has an escalator.

Information[]

As its name suggests, this "amusement park" only contains a slow-moving escalator.

Background[]

This place was mentioned by Timmy Turner in the episode, "That Old Black Magic", dismissing it as being "for babies." That was a reference to an earlier boring family trip. While riding the escalator, Timmy had asked his father when they would get to the ride. Mr. Turner replied, "This is the ride!". After the Anti-Fairies ruined "Adrenaland", his family, went to Escalator Land along with The President of the United States who was surprisingly excited. Not wanting to come back to this park next year, Timmy says, "Next year we're going camping" while riding the slow escalator with boredom.

Notes[]

  • One possible inspiration for the Escalator Land gag, can be found at the Universal Studios Theme Park in Hollywood, California where there is an excessive amount of escalators that are used to travel down to the lower lot of the park. This would make sense as Dimmsdale is located in California.
  • Another possible inspiration could be the worlds first escalator which was installed in 1896 as an attraction on Coney Island New York.
